United Bonded Fabrics’ commitment to Fibre Technology for Better Living extends to its production processes, selection of materials, distribution network, and the Company’s approach to doing business.
  • All of the Company’s products are designed to improve the physical environment of the user, with most building products designed to reduce the cost and use of energy for reduced greenhouse gas emissions
  • The majority of fibres used in UBF’s products are organic or recycled
  • Virgin fibres are only sourced from suppliers with the highest environmental standards of production.
  • Many of UBF’s products are designed to be reusable or recyclable
  • UBF does not use any chemicals in the production of its fabrics, and waddings or consumer goods except for application of antibacterial treatments on some products.
  • UBF works closely with charities and other manufacturers to collect and recycle cotton, wool and polyester fabrics
  • UBF employs state of the art energy efficient production processes
  • UBF’s nationwide footprint reduces the cost and impact of transport for supply of goods to its customers.
  • UBF has active waste management programs in place to minimize the generation and disposal of production waste to landfill with the majority of waste materials recycled either in-house or by recycling partners
  • UBF’s offcut and packaging stewardship program allows all customers to return clean post production and consumer goods packaging for recycling.
